New Zealand 2005

Welcome to Wanaka

June 21, 2005

Miracle of miracles, we are back in New Zealand. Much prayer and hard work went into our latest trip to the South Island. We are now in the town of Wanaka, near many lakes and the 2nd highest mountain in New Zealand, Mount Aspiring. The two nearby skifields (Treble Cone and--Jessica's favorite--Cardrona) open in a couple of days (we arrived before the snow!). We are doing well, eating healthy food, and walking into town (having no car helps). We are planning a Williams Family Outreach soon, with the sharing of cancer and heart survival stories, books, music, and funny stories (we're taking the town of Wanaka by storm, like it or not--they need a little excitement). Hopefully, the band "Peculiar People"(for whom we are officially groupies) will be doing a South Island tour this summer, as the churches get together to sponsor a music outreach. Please pray for us and Wanaka.

Quote of the day: "All you need is a willing heart--step forward, and amazing doors will open."--Lonna Lisa Williams, cancer survivor
